we can also see where that shockwave is heading in the subsequent picture box. no evidence that shows the quake would've destroyed or dismembered a portion of the giant, like punching a hole through him, making the leg fall off, or flattening/squishing him into paper.Īnother thing we see in the 2nd scan is that behind the giant, the shockwave continues past him causing considerable collateral damage to the ground. but WB is not done, we get another quake that trips the giant up. no external wounds and yet he’s out, we therefore logically conclude that he must have suffered some sort of internal damage. yet, we know the giant suffered some sort of trauma and is immediately KOd. apart from that there is no sign of any external wounds, cuts, or holes. In the 1st scan, WB quakes the giant and we can see a small indentation on the giant's vest. I'm getting tired of all these misconceptions around WB quakes, so i looked deeply into the matter and this is my conclusion. this wall of text addresses a number of misconceptions i have run into as well as the one we talked about. i disagreed because i've run into my fair share of misconceptions and posters arguing many different things about quakes that are simply not true. it seems solid enough but after showing it to a couple people, they felt this was general information that everybody already knows. Originally i was planning to release this as a blog but i have since then lost a good amount of interest. Afterwards, I'd appreciate if an explanation could be given to how it results in the four mentioned uses. But this clearly isn't the case, since a "push" can't explain the compressed quakes (vs John Giant, Sakazuki and Teach), earthquakes or Tsunamis.Īs a sugestion, I would recomend that an explanation be started with what a shockwave actually is and how it is related to vibrations. Now, if it worked like in most animes, where a shockwave is just a push (ala Shinra Tensei), I would just accept it and move on. I know the basic principles behind EM/sound waves, but that's about it. I know it's power is based on vibrations and shockwaves, but as someone who has no actual scientific knowledge on this topics, that doesn't mean anything. The Gura Gura no mi (Quake Quake/ Tremor Tremor fruit) used by Edward Newgate (Shirohige/Whitebeard). They are rare, but when they come, they'll drive me insane if left uncheck. I'm having one of my "I don't fucking get how this works" moments.
